Zac Thompson - vocals
A founding member off the band, Zac has been on the gigging scene with bands for the last 20 years, those include eclipse, gold rush, channel 4, skinful, Acbeebies, into the void and rat salad!
Heavily influenced by the likes of Dio and Ozzy Osbourne, Zac's vocals are matched only to his great performances!
One of the best frontmen in the area, Zac knows how to put on a show and he does it in style everytime!

Dave Rumble - Guitar
A founding member of compass, Dave has 20 years experience of playing guitar.
Before joining compass, Dave was lead guitarist of Reactor, joining back in 2010 and spending 4 years with them, during this time he played local venues and a few festival gigs.
After the band finished he joined AcBeebies for a short period, initially to cover illness, in this time he also returned back to Slither, another local band that he still plays with when not on the road with Compass, and learned to play bass guitar so that he could also offer cover to the beebies on bass!
After the decline of Acbeebies, Dave and Zac talked, intent on putting together something new and out of those discussions Compass was formed!
Dave's background of playing styles and influences are very varied, some of his biggest influences are Gary Moore, Ritchie Sambora, Brian setzer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, Mark Knopfler and Chris Rea!
Ashley Whelan- Drums
Ashley has worked with many talented bands locally and comes into the compass family offering high energy, a great passion and flashy jedi sticks, this guy is a true character!
Johnny Utting - Bass, Backing vocals
Johnny took an interest in music from the age of 6, after experimenting with different instruments he bought his first guitar aged 15, all be it a 6 string, a year later he switched over to bass and started playing with 'Harmony ice' which later became 'Head start', Johnny has since gone on to work with The cutting edge, QED, Rat salad, PV and most recently Compass!

Carl - Drums
Carl has been playing drums for over 20 years, he has been involved in some of best local bands including the red crow, black orchid, skinful, jools blues allstars and voodoo vegas and his current bands include Compass, Rat salad, Pv and Rock U!
He is heavily influenced by the likes of Keith Moon and Cozy Powell, and some of his favourite bands include Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, this shows in his fantastic style and ability!
Andy Emery - Drums
Andy Studied drums from an early age, working with local drum tutor Phil bailey he has become a key member of Compass providing a solid backline for the band.
